August 12, 2011 – Don’t Be a Number launches Back to School Facebook Trivia Contest

The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission wants you to go back to school in style with Don’t Be a Number.  From August 15 – 28, young workers in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, age 13-25, can answer daily trivia questions to win great prizes.  Up for grabs are baseball style t-shirts, locker mirrors, metal water bottles, notebooks, and more.

Every correct answer wins a prize.  Young workers are eligible to win one prize per day, per trivia question.

To qualify for the contest, young workers age 13 – 25 must email their answers to dontbeanumber@wscc.nt.ca, and include that day’s date in the subject line.  The email must contain the answer to the trivia question and a complete mailing address; send a new email for each trivia question/day.  If a participant sends more than one email per day, per trivia question, only their first email received enters the contest; additional responses that day will not quality. Depending on the number of prizes a participant wins, they may receive duplicate items.  Deadline to submit answers is Monday, August 29.  The WSCC will send all prizes following the end of the contest, via Canada Post regular parcel service.
