Jamie Stringer
At 22 years of age, Jamie Stringer was an eager and diligent worker in his second year of a Parts Technician apprenticeship program. He was young but knew what he wanted. While watching a co-worker repair a flat tire on a wheel loader, the tire exploded. The explosion caused the large tire ring to separate from the tire and wheel assembly. This 20lb ring flew towards Jamie, hitting him with enough force to throw him back into another piece of machinery.
