At 22, Paolo never imagined that he would have to put his lifelong dream on hold because of a workplace injury. Eight months into his job with a local air charter company, Paolo found himself on a black airplane tarmac, trapped under a 3,500lb crate. A task he had done a hundred times before had gone terribly wrong. The crate slipped and fell off the forklift and came crashing down, crushing Paolo beneath it.
